Bruce Gholson of Bulldog Pottery in Seagrove, NC, was invited to participate in an invitational Teapot Show at the Hodges Taylor Gallery. “Extravagant Imagination: Teapots”, will be on display from March 6-May 1, 2004. Bruce Gholson’s teapots have appeared in numerous national shows. Gholson’s frog green teapot won an “Award of Excellence” at the Cedar Creek Gallery’s, National Teapot Show in 1999, Creedmoor, NC. Juror Don Davis described Bruce’s frog green teapot as, “…Quietly compelling interpretation of traditional form and surface with contemporary sensibility”.
