North Carolina Pottery Center Demonstration
Demonstrations will be held 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The NC Pottery Center will host a demonstration day. Plan to visit the NCPC to see featured potters Samantha Henneke, Crystal King, Travis Owens, Tommy Nichols, and Chad Brown demonstrating at the wheel in the educational building. The NCPC will be open with Free Admission in honor of this event.

Bruce and Samantha have been invited to participate in the Yunomi Invitational at the AKAR Gallery in Iowa City. About 200 have been chosen to send five Yunomis each. The Yunomi exhibition will be posted online and available for online purchase. (Yunomi -- U-Know-Me -- a tea bowl that is taller than wide with a trimmed or turned foot without a handle.) Catawba Valley Festival
Friday, March 26: 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Advance tickets required Saturday, March 27: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Bulldog Pottery will be at the Catawba Valley Pottery Festival. Visit with Bruce and Ed Friday evening and Saturday to see our latest Moka glazed pottery. The Catawba Valley Pottery Festival is a fund two non-profit institutions, the Catawba County and Historical Association and the North Carolina Pottery Center. Tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under and will be available at the door. Friday night March 26 is the preview from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased by March 19, 2010. Tickets are $40.00 each. Call 828-324-7294 for purchase information. Potters Market Invitational at the Mint Museum of Art
Saturday, Sept. 11: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We have been invited to participate in the annual Potters Market Invitational at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, NC. The Deholm Service League has invited 40 North Carolina potters to participate in this intimate selling event. The potters will have their work displayed under a large, spacious tent with plenty of room for potter enthusiasts to move around and view the ceramics.


"The Delhome League sponsors the annual Potters Market Invitational as a fund raiser for the Mint Museum of Art ceramics collection. By guaranteeing that buyers can find high quality wares at the Potters Market Invitational the Delhome League seeks to encourage popular support of North Carolina pottery. Monies raised will be dedicated to acquisitions and projects that further the study and appreciation of historical pottery and porcelain at the Mint Museum of Art."

3rd Annual Celebration of Seagrove Potters

The 3rd Annual Celebration of Seagrove Potters is a premier exhibition and sale of Seagrove pottery and clay works that is held indoors at the historic Luck's Cannery in Seagrove on Potters Highway 705. Seagrove artists that live and work in the area that defines the town of Seagrove will be selling their newest creations. Friday evening begins with the Gala Party offering early sales, food and beverages, entertainment and an auction of special one-of-a-kind collaborative pieces.
